Setup and configure the VMs that will serve as your AAP infrastructure. Download the bundled installer to your local system. Fill out the inventory file with the correct information. Run the setup script. Previously, the Ansible Tower inventory would default to running on localhost, but I believe that's been removed in AAP. I always recommend running the installer from a system not part of the AAP infra. More on reddit.com

Follow this guide if you want to do it on a single node and have little experience with Kubernetes. https://github.com/kurokobo/awx-on-k3s It is much easier to setup then. I did have issues with Ubuntu at some point and decided to go with AlmaLinux instead as that worked better for me. Haven’t had a single issue since and it is very stable More on reddit.com

I apologize if this is the wrong place, r/ansible seems to be more geared toward the community side of ansible and not the redhat deployment of AAP.
Reading the documentation, I am confused about where to start. It is unclear if I need to build a small control node and run t he install playbooks from there or if I can install it from one of the hosts that will be designated as one of the controller nodes. If I can do either is one way better or more preferred than the other.
This will also be in a disconnected environment in case that plays into a preferred installation method.

I am having an issue with running the setup script. I have crated an ssh key for root and for another user in the wheel group. I have tried the installation with both. I have ssh-copy-id each of the keys to each VM. I can ssh each machine with root and with the other user without password, using the key. When I rub the script, it says my workstation can't reach each node.... Confused here, I just got to each host using keys from my workstation.
