If so get in touch with Mara at Deep Eddy Studios. They are out near Hamilton Pool, but Mara’s is literally the rockstar of Texas when it comes to refinishing antiques. So much so that she is trusted with sprucing up all the furniture in the Capitol and the Guv’s Mansion. And she is a classic old school Austin Hippie. Deep Eddy Studios is good people.

Pyro’s probably right here. To kick my two cents, I grew up in an antiques family and it was drilled into my head that you almost never alter an item. For instance, you should not refinish a piece of furniture that still has its original finish. And God for bid you paint it - especially white LOL! My parents mainly dealt in antique art pottery and in that case professional restoration of chips can raise the price greatly on an already very expensive item. Personally I would just clean it very thoroughly, photograph all the parts well, and point out that it is all original. If it doesn’t sell, maybe restore it as a project and try selling it again.
