Is a USB-A charger and USB-A to USB-C cable not an option? I really wouldn’t worry about it anyway. The part of charging that’s bad for your battery is the heat generated to “push” past 80 through 100, so the iPhone automatically switches to 5 watts for that last bit. More on reddit.com

Good day, USB-C community! I have been purchasing used Apple USB-C charging bricks under the notion that they are of a MUCH higher quality than typical third-party chargers (including folks like Anker and Aukey). I have two of the Apple 96w chargers and they seem to work just fine... and I picked them up for a song. I have a colleague that thinks that's the Apple chargers are nothing special and that I'd be much better off purchasing one of the higher-end Anker charging bricks that have multiple ports.
What say you, community?

I'd say nothing special but less of a worry of one burning your house down. That being said, I tend to go w/ Anker as they are smaller, reliable, and have more ports. I'm not an expert, this is just my experience.
