Locked apps allow you to show your screen to someone while protecting sensitive areas of your phone. For additional privacy, you can hide a locked app. This removes the hidden app’s name and icon from the Home Screen and search results, and pauses its notifications.

May 9, 2024 - These are Apple’s own apps that come pre-loaded. They are “pretty much unavoidable on a new device, be it a computer, tablet or mobile phone,” the researchers said in a statement. The researchers studied eight apps available on iPhones, iPads and Macs: Safari, Siri, Family Sharing, iMessage, FaceTime, Location Services, Find My and Touch ID. First, they collected all publicly available privacy-related information on these apps, including technical documentation and privacy policies and user manuals.

October 17, 2018 - The privacy portal was already tested in the European Union in May, coinciding with the EU's launch of restrictive privacy legislation called the General Data Protection Legislation (GDPR). The information collected may include data such as calendar entries, photos, reminders, documents, website bookmarks, App Store purchases or support history of repairs to your devices, among other items. September 21, 2020 - Is my iPhone hacked? I turned on my privacy report app and I have found many domain websites that are to contact through the app.. should I be worried? And also some of the apps are popping up that I haven't even clicked on.. does this mean somebody else is on my account without me knowing?
