>I just created a Google Sites "site" and have the privacy policy stated on one of the website's pages. I am assuming this will work when submitting my app for review. You obtain a website from Google. That website has the URL "h ttp s://sites.google.com/.....". You then use the Google API to write your privacy policy on that website. You then add that website to the metadata on App Store Connect when you submit your app for approval. You can include a link to that website within your app if you are required to (i.e. certain IAPs require a link to your privacy policy). Answer from PBK on developer.apple.com

January 27, 2024 -

UPDATE:

This was a bug on Apple's side. I had to go through support and it took their engineers a month to fix this. Apparently there was an Apple TV draft that I could not see on the App Store Connect UI. On their backend, they were expecting a privacy policy for this draft app, but there was no way for me to add one since the draft didn't even exist in the UI. If anyone else runs into this, unfortunately you will need to reach out to Apple to get it resolved.

BACKSTORY / DETAILS:

I'm trying to submit an update to my app in App Store Connect, but when I click the submit button I see a warning that says:

Unable to Add for Review

The items below are required to start the review process:

You must enter a Privacy Policy URL in App Privacy

When I go to App Privacy, I've already filled out the privacy policy field.

I've tried changing this field, saving it, removing it, etc. etc. Nothing seems to fix this problem. There are no other outstanding draft versions in my dashboard either. My app also only has one locale. I reached out to Apple Support but it's been about a week and I haven't heard anything back. I'm absolutely stumped. Has anyone run into this before?
