Anyone try one of Arc's new-condition mattresses? Also, where do they source these mattresses?
Bought one a few years ago. They had defects and were from Denver Mattress. The defect on ours was a scuff on the side, never see it cause it’s covered by sheets. It was a good purchase.
My family purchased 3 of them several years ago. They're obviously not the nicest mattresses you can get (mattresses are a fucking scam, but you at least somewhat get what you pay for on the lower end). However, they served us perfectly fine for many years. They're always brand new (or maybe slightly scuffed, but never sold).
Summary: they're perfectly fine for a starter/cheap mattress. When you can afford it, consider switching to something nicer. I've really liked my IKEA mattress, which is also affordable.
Just noticed they sell them there... seem to be brand new and cheap. Haven't gone in to see for myself yet. Anyone here bought one? If not, where SHOULD I get one? I want a really comfortable one, I'm tired of laying on rocks
Laying on my pillow top from the Arc right now. It seems quality to me. They are all brand new by the way.
The mattresses are new, not refurbished. They are just fine, unless your body needs something really soft, like memory foam or a very squishy mattress. Go lay down on one at the store.
I got one after the Waldo Canyon Fire. (Smoke damage to old mattress.) It was too hard for me. (I old.) But it was a decent mattress.
