February 13, 2023 - Bought a new Barcalounger and it is nowhere near the same quality or comfort. I doubt this one will last me 20+ years. Thankfully I still have the old one so I'll sit comfortably in it in my office now instead of the living room. ... I realize this is a year later, but if the bones are still good, a good upholstery shop can dramatically change the look of the chair just by using different techniques.

Coincidentally, when we complained about the second pair of chairs the Barcalounger rep was at the store. We were offered powered recliners as replacements, unfortunately we had to pay the difference. These recliners are the most uncomfortable recliner.The headrest doesn't sit right.Suffice it to say, I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER Barfalounger AGAIN.

We are two senior citizens who spend 6 months each year out of state. The leather covering is peeling at all places where it rubs as it reclines and also on the arms and folds on the back. It is a mess and Im disgusted with how this chair is wearing. We have had Barcaloungers in the past that lasted for many years and gave us many years of great use.
