I really like them myself. They make the cupcakes have a slightly different shape so they look weird in a box (to me) but that could just be the ones I have! The base is slightly narrower than a paper liner, and they don't seem as stable so if they are leaving my house I just use paper, but I make alot of protien muffins and they stick to paper pretty badly but pop right out of the silicone. We have a set and it makes baking muffins a breeze. Ours are magically non stick or something - you don't need to spray them and everything just slides right out of them. We throw them in the top of the dishwasher rack once we've eaten all the muffins. The pan is then basically clean and needs like a simple rinse.

I would use paper ones instead. The silicone ones pick up odors and become disgusting quicker than I prefer. Paper ones that can be composted are probably better, IMO.

I would go with stainless! Look for sauce cups- super great size for little ones! Paper is the other go-to. We went to all silicone for the kids stuff and it gave food a weird smell & taste over time - so we switched to all SS just last month
