In case this helps anyone else, I just did some troubleshooting on my brother's computer with an ASUS Prime B350-Plus. The quick chirp at the beginning typically just means it's starting to boot. If there's a pause in the beep code, it seems to separate multiple codes, indicating multiple errors. So long-short-short-short (pause) short means no graphics adapter and also no keyboard. I just completed a build but had no output to display. I hooked up a speaker to the mobo, but I'm not sure what the beep codes mean. It's one short, then a delay of a couple seconds followed by a long beep and three short beeps, another shorter delay and another short beep. I'm guessing it's a video card issue, but the last beep is throwing me off.

Couldn't find anything in the user manual, but I did find this Your beep code, according to this, means no vga detected. I'd recommend trying to reseat your graphics card, make sure any internal power cables are properly connected, and ensure any external cables are properly connected (unplug and replug). If this doesn't work the most common cause is RAM seating, so take out your ram and put it back in, make sure it clicks into place, search for a video if you're not sure.
