slow boot times, stability and memory issues and in general Not exclusive to Asus boards but the new 'memory training' feature of DDR5 RAM on the AM5 platform. It can also be turned off after successful application of the EXPO profile and significantly reduce the boot time. Also update the BIOS to the latest version immediately and you're good to go. Best White Motherboard for 9800x3D around $200?

If you haven't already bought everything/aren't getting some bundle deal with RAM and Mobo from Microcenter: https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16813119703 is a good option. $70 over, but you get that back with free RAM. If you have to buy from Microcenter I would go with the Asrock. The other two are much worse and while I would generally avoid Asrock, the small chance of it causing a problem isn't worth the downgrade to the other two imo. More on reddit.com

White AM5 Motherboard - Recommendations, Insights and Experiences?

I would avoid ASUS on principle, maybe MSI too (good boards but had some memory stability issues in earlier AM5 BIOS revisions that are now fixed, and then there's the recent security incident). I've always chosen Gigabyte and haven't had any issues so far. More on reddit.com

Need your opinion on the ROG Strix B650-A Gaming WiFi mobo as it is my top choice for an all-white AMD build with Ryzen 7 7800X3D. The motherboard looks really beautiful but I read some bad stuff like slow boot times, stability and memory issues and in general not being worth the cost...

Shall I go for it or maybe switch to something like ASRock B650E Steel Legend?
