March 24, 2025Do I need all this Asus stuff for anything, or are all these processes just eating up performance? I have an Asus TUF Gaming F15 2021 Laptop running newest Win11 beta build 22622.598.
What I would do is just disable all that stuff from startup, and then use your PC like normal for a week to see any difference before uninstalling. Some of those programs may do things like control functions on your keyboard or automatically adjust your fans. No harm will come from disabling or uninstalling them, but if they are disabled it is easy to undo if you find you are missing something. More on reddit.com

I installed my new Asus rog X870-A Gaming WiFi motherboard. Asus itself gives you software recommendations to install, but I wanted to ask which ones you guys recommend before doing so.
Also, I have a question, what's the Asus software to be able to see the temperatures of the CPU, GPU and be able to control the RGB?
My CPU is a Ryzen 7 9700x
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance RGB DDR5 RAM (2x16GB) CL30 6000

CPU-Z is useful at least, but download the latest version from the official CPUID website. Pretty sure the AIDA64 Extreme is a trial version only.
