Does the down clip even open? I seem to remember, maybe with my current Asus ROG STRIX Z90-E motherboard (but maybe not), that only one end of the DRAM socket has a clip that opens. I'm currently running 4x 16GB of Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB at 5600 MHz on an ROG Maximus Z790 Hero board with an i9-13900K. Just enabled XMP profile 1 and didn't touch anything else. It works great so far, didn't run into major issues and MemTest86 finished a full run with zero errors. I guess I can call it stable. I'll continue monitoring the stability though and will edit this post if necessary. More on reddit.com

My question is: If you have 2 nvme drives plugged into positions m.2_1 & m.2_2 of the hyper m.2 card which is plugged into slot PCIE16(G4) (3rd pcie slot), will the 2 nvme drives share 4x? Or can you only run a single nvme drive in order to maintain 16x on the gpu? * i am not using the onboard m.2 only the hyper m.2 card.

Recently bought a ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero with 13900k cpu and was wondering what ram to buy. Was looking to have 64 GB of ram. The board has 4 dimm slots but I can't find a list of compatible ram for 4 dimms anywhere. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
