July 2, 2025Need floor tile ideas for my bathroom redo
First pic is goal (lol), second is what it currently looks like. 😳😬 We will be painting the existing wall tile white, the wall a dark green. Because we removed a wall, there is tile missing in the floor so it'll need to be replaced. We will be shopping at Floor and Decor.

If the floor is uneven and he uses large format tile, it will eventually crack. The smaller tile conforms to irregularities better and is much easier to repair if one does end up breaking. Plus every old house I have ever worked in(along with my 120 year old house) has had small penny tiles or the hexagonal ones your thinking of. More on reddit.com

I'm restoring my 1920s bathroom to a more original state by removing the 2000s vinyl stick tile. Unfortunately, all of the original flooring has been removed at some point so I'm going to tile the floor in something more period appropriate, but I'm having a hard time sourcing tile.
I'm looking for those one inch square tiles, so that I can do something like pictured. I can easily find white and black, but I wanted brassy yellow and an willing to settle for emerald green but I can't find them anywhere outside of having them custom made.
So do you guys know of anywhere that makes floor safe one inch tiles in those colors?
