I worked for buy Buy Baby. The store has been closed for a couple weeks now, but even before liquidation (January and before), our freight sucked. We were bombarded with a ridiculous amount of coats. We live in a cold climate, but we never sold enough coats to justify how many we got in. We kept getting new weird brands of diapers and wipes no one wanted. The few Pampers and Huggies we got in, got shipped out on SFS within 24 hours. No Fisher Price tubs for MONTHS. No Mamaroos. No Burts Bees bedding or bath. No Dapple. No Dreft. No Sleepsacks. No Dr. Browns or Philip Avent bottles and nipples. Basically, if it was a popular product, we didn't have it. And people are so brand loyal when it comes to baby products, few people were willing to try anything different. We had people asking since last summer if we were going out of business because the store was so empty.
