My husband and I recently bought a house and have a large, long master bedroom. What do I put in this corner? Obviously I need artwork in the room in general, but what else do I put here? We have 2 walk-in closets, so there is not a need for dressers.
This is our master bedroom in an 1890s brownstone in Brooklyn. I love our bedroom design, but this corner feels like a hodge podge. It's not very functional - there are no end tables to set mugs or books on, and overall feels impersonal. I plan on moving the two plants and light elsewhere, and mounting the mirror (we have a baby who will start walking soon).
What can I do to the non-windowed wall to make this feel warmer, cozier, better? Our ceilings are tall and I'm worried that floating shelving will look weird given the proportions.
