I currently have an HP and paying almost £5 a month for subscription which is, short for the right word, an extortion? When it started it was just £1.5 or so and its almost tripled now.
While I can buy cartridges, they wont last long even the genuine ones. Its funny that their subscription catridges last for an year or more without replacing, while non subscription ones wont last long or give some errors after a few months.
I know that a lot of people suggest Brothers laser printer, but I am for a color printer and a color laser printer will break my bank.. I prefer the option to print color pages, so would like to replace my current hp.
Can you suggest some good alternatives please?
Also, any suggestions on how to dispose the current one? I can put it in fb, but I dont think it would get any buyers.
I will probably be printing 80% with just black ink, and it will be quite heavy usage. Looking at about paying £250 or below.
Edit- thank you so much guys, it looks like a Brother laser printer is my best recommended option! You have all saved me a massive headache and an incorrect purchase!
Hello - We have been using a HP Deskjet 4560 for few years and was never satisfied. It finally died and I am looking to replace it with an all in one printer (print/scan/copy). Color is not a must but we do print quite a lot for home use. My wife is an elementary school teacher so she ends up printing a lot of classroom materials. Should we go with a Laser instead of inkjet? If so any recommendations for a good one that costs less than 300 or 250?
