Newer titles have found a more convincing handling model, and offer a wider range of vehicles and cars. But where none of these whippersnappers can beat PC2 is in sheer sandbox appeal. It sounds like a minor detail, but the level of detail its race creator goes into is peerless.

I played a lot of Cyberpunk recently and I realised that I really enjoy just driving around, so I got in the mood for some racing game. What are the best ones right now to check out?
Can be sim, arcade or a mix of both, it doesn't matter as long as it's good. The only critetia I have is to be able to play it with a controller.

What are some good racing games?
Keep in mind all I have is a controller
I tried to play forza 5 but the one I disliked was the scripted events it hsd, and also the tuning mechanics and how vastly overwhelming everything is, also the game doesn't really have races for the first missions?? Open world fun but idk couldn't really enjoy it.
Would love to try any other racing games or open world driving games.
