How protective of an iPhone 16 case should you buy?
I like cases that aren't too thick but offer decent drop protection, with a lip over the edge of the screen (sometimes referred to as a "screen bumper") and raised corners that help prevent your screen from cracking if your phone should fall face down. A folio case will more fully protect your screen. The good news is that you don't have to buy a super-protective iPhone 16 case like the OtterBox Defender XT to get good protection. Most cases are reasonably thin and still offer at least 6-foot drop protection. I did include one very thin case on this list for folks who prefer minimal protection

Hello everyone! I’m on the lookout for a camera control case for my iPhone 16 Pro, and I’m torn between two options. After some research online, I came across the Spigen Ultra Hybrid T case. However, the main reason I’m hesitant to purchase it is its transparent design. I personally dislike transparent cases. Additionally, in my country, the Spigen case is almost the same price as the original Apple silicon case. However, some people on the internet have expressed concerns about the durability of the Apple silicon case. So, I’m seeking your advice on which of these two cases I should consider getting.

So, I’ve been using the Spigen case for a few days now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The camera control works seamlessly, and the case itself looks fantastic. Even though I initially thought the clear design would be unappealing, the black tinted version actually looks even better than Apple silicone cases to me. The MagSafe magnets are strong, and I was worried that the plastic case would be slippery, but it turned out to be surprisingly stable. I’ve had experience with the Apple silicone case on my iPhone 6 and 14, which both started disassembling after about a year of use. Based on that experience, I highly recommend the Spigen case over the Apple one.

If you prefer a non-transparent case, the Apple silicon case might be a better fit despite concerns about durability, as it offers excellent grip and protection. You could also look into other non-transparent camera control cases like those from OtterBox or Mous for added durability.

Depends on the look you're going for. Natural titanium looks really good with dark gray or neutral color cases. A common one is Apple's silicone stone gray case, but apple's cases notoriously don't stand the test of time. If you want a classier unique look, Andar, Bullstrap, Ryan London, Nomad, and Keyway designs all make a good leather case. Andar and Keyway make a grayish brown colored leather that looks really nice with titanium. Spigen is tried and true, I'm currently using their Thinfit Magfit case in gunmetal. Really like the profile of the case, camera button cut out, and the metallic gunmetal color on Ti. But it attracts skin oils and leaves smudges on the back which I don't love. I have their Rugged Magfit case on the way in gray. And if you want to save money, Aliexpress has a lot of good designs and a lot of them are either the same exact cases sold on Amazon or come from the same distributor. I've heard the YWM store on there has high quality leather cases. Source: I've been down the case rabbit hole for about a month now. I go through this every time I get a new phone lol
