I'm looking for something dark and weird. Think along the lines of Martyrs (the French original) as your litmus but could be any type: realistic, supernatural, sci-fi, I'm not picky about genre. I'm just interested in extreme horror.

One that I found very disturbing that I never hear talked about is Red White and Blue from 2010. It’s less visually disturbing than Martyrs but by the end when you find out the whole story I found it pretty disturbing. And also if you’re ok with a documentary that starts out happy and gets very disturbing by the end, Dear Zackary is a good one.
