I've been using these ever since I got my 15 Pro. Tl;dr they really are great when they're made right, but very expensive and have inconsistent quality control. They're really good but quality control is disappointingly inconsistent, which is a pretty big deal because they cost $40 just for a single protector. That said, if you're the kind of person who really sweats the details, they really are the best I've found so far as long as you get a good one. Installation is really easy and their kit is genuinely impressive. I've struggled with screen protectors for over a decade, but their install kit genuinely keeps out all the dust and I've successfully done it 5 times now. Just make sure you take regular precautions like doing it in a clean room, cleaning the screen properly before, and all that. They go further to the edge of the phone than any other protector I've used (including the Torras) and the curved edge feels the nicest out of all the brands I've tried. The anti-glare feature is great if you spend a lot of time outdoors in sunny environments, and they have an anti-rainbow feature that's useful if you wear polarized sunglasses. Protection seems fine. I've had my current one on my phone since January and there are no scratches on the protector. Dropped my phone once or twice and it seems fine so far (though I use a slim case). The downsides are that the fingerprint resistance and smoothness are quite bad, especially in recent production runs (frustratingly they seem to have downgraded whatever coating they're using since last year). Not horrible but noticeably worse than Apple's coating. And like mentioned earlier, it's a gamble if you get a genuinely good one or not. I went through a few with alignment or adherence issues, and while I'm happy with my current one, the black borders cut off the corners of the display. I was able to get warranty replacements but they charge you $10 for shipping each time, which sucks. Also the price is really high for a single screen protector, but it's up to you whether it's worth it or not. Personally I'm not happy with the amount of variance I've seen in these, for the price they ask. The Torras gets most of the way there for a much more reasonable price. r/iPhone16Pro on Reddit: REVIEW of FLOLAB updated screen protector
November 27, 2024 -

First off, sorry for those who were waiting. I got the screen protector this past weekend, but life gets in the way.

This is an update to this post:

FLOLAB just released their updated screen protector

TLDR:

PURCHASE AT OWN YOUR RISK. It has superior anti-polarization, excellent clarity, touch sensitivity is superb, and L corner lines from camera are more visible than UltraGlass from Amazon (by proxy Torras since they use the same distributer as UltraGlass). HOWEVER, there was an unremovable air bubble on bottom portion of screen and there were others in the original post that had a similar issue, so not sure if defect in application guide/tool.

Let's get into the details.

I'll be comparing this screen protector to the UltraGlass that is available from Amazon.

Bezel width:

I wanted to see FLOLAB's screen protector bezel and if they were thinner than UltraGlass bezels and indeed they are thinner. So FLOLAB's claim of 0.7mm bezels seems to be true:

Comparison of top bezel width. Top: FLOLAB, bottom: UltraGlass

Comparison of corner bezel width. Left-most: FLOLAB, right-most: UltraGLass

Comparison of side bezel width. Left-most: FLOLAB, right-most: UltraGLass

L corner guide:

UltraGlass covers the L corner lines partially, so the bezels are marginally covering the screen:

UltraGlass L Corner Guides

The L corner guides are more visible on the FLOLAB than they are on the UltraGlass:

FLOLAB L Corner Guides

I do think it is still slightly covering, maybe 1 pixel, but it is less noticeable.

Polarization:

This is actually really noticeable. There is a "rainbow" affect that happens when you wear something that is polarized due to how the light hits it. On the UltraGlass, it is very apparent when using light mode, and I don't know if it would be something that I want when wearing sunglasses. I've included straight and angled pictures, since we don't always hold our phones straight. The left one is straight and the right one is angled:

UltraGLass rainbow effect, dark mode

UltraGlass rainbow effect, light mode

Video of UltraGlass polarization effect, light mode

As you can see, the rainbow effect is more noticeable in light mode.

For those of us that use sunglasses, FLOLAB is definitely superior and their rainbow effect is not as prominent. It is still there, but it's more muted:

FLOLAB rainbow effect, dark mode

FLOLAB rainbow effect, light mode

Video of FLOLAB polarization effect, light mode

In the video, the rainbow effect isn't as strong and bearable as compared to the UltraGlass.

Screen Protector to Case Gap:

There are no discernible differences between the two. It appears that FLOLAB was able to shrink the bezel width, but the total screen protector dimensions remain the same and similar to UltraGlass.

Clarity:

There isn't an easy way to show the clarity of the screen protectors, but FLOLAB seems to be ever so slightly clearer. Because it's such a marginal difference, I don't think this FLOLAB can be considered better in this regard.

Issue:

FLOLAB's screen protector produced an air bubble on the bottom portion of the screen that was not removable no matter how much I pressed down or tried to push out the air bubble. It kept coming back. Other Redditors faced a similar issue and I think this is due to their application guide/tool being set maybe 1mm or 2mm off:

Air bubble screen off

Air bubble screen on

Final thoughts:

FLOLAB's bezels are thinner, and their claim that their screen protectors produce less of a polarization effect is also true. Honestly, this would have been the ideal screen protector, if it weren't for the air bubble issue; everything else about it is better or equal to UltraGlass. The fact that FLOLAB only includes 1 screen protector doesn't help. It may have just been me and others who got the first batch of the updated 0.7mm screen protectors, but I can't fully recommend to purchase this screen protector wholeheartedly due this issue and the possibility that it can affect others. If you want to take the risk, then do so. They do have a return policy. I have reached out to customer support about this issue and am waiting to hear back from them. If I get an update, I'll edit this post. Feel free to ask me any additional questions about the screen protectors and hope this was helpful. I've also included links to all photos of each screen protector below. Cheers!

Recently, my TORRAS screen protector has been pretty disappointing, and I was looking for a new screen protector. The Flooab caught my eye since I don’t use a case and heard that it wrapped around the screen. Anyone know how good the scratch and drop protection is? (and ease of installation)

Got it since 2 months now, little scratches on it, reflection less, fall many times and never brake. Easy to install but before, look at YouTube videos. And for the final uppercut, lifetime warranty

r/iphone on Reddit: Bad experience with Flolab
October 28, 2025 -

UPDATE: part of Flolab's reply: 'We're sorry that the screen protector didn’t meet your expectations, especially given how much care you put into choosing the right one. We understand how frustrating it is when a product described as "Infinity Edge" doesn't deliver full edge coverage, and we hear you about the importance of transparency. While the current design is built to be case-friendly with a slight border to prevent lifting, we agree that the naming and product details could have been clearer at the time of purchase. That’s on us, and we’re already improving how we communicate these differences.' They did not reply to my email and refund request for 20 days until I started a chargeback on Revolut and they are asking me to cancel the chargeback saying I can get my money back so now I'm deciding what to do because if I cancel chargeback and they ghost me again I can't start another one. ORIGINAL POST: I ordered a case called Infinity edge for 30+ euros that has a light bleed on the edges. At the moment of ordering there wasn't an alternative non privacy non matte screen protector with anti-reflective layer. It came with iPhone 17 sticker covering iPhone 16 Pro text originally on the box and it has light bleed on edges. They said it's normal and not faulty but offered 50% discount for future improved version. Couple of days later, they have a new listing for 3D glass and they renamed ‘Infinity edge’ variant to ‘Infinity Edge Case friendly’. That wasn't stated when I bought it, 'infinity edge' sounds like something that goes to the edge of the screen, not 'infinity but you see 2mm of your screen outside of glass'. I put a 3 star review saying glass itself is great but the light bleed makes it look and feel non premium and that ‘infinity’ is misleading and review disappeared off the site instantly. They just show 5 stars reviews on their site. It's a shame because the glass is good quality, but having misleading names and keeping only 5 star reviews doesn't make them a trustworthy company. Also, customer support didn’t reply to my email after writing that I think it’s not okay to add info later that this is a Case friendly version and all that, but they never responded to my email. I’m attaching product names on my order and updated one on my site and also images for Infinity edge glass and 3D glass where only on later released 3D edge one they state there is an edge difference between the two.

r/iphone on Reddit: Long-term durability of AR screen protectors (FLOLAB & Benks)
September 30, 2025 -

Hey everyone,

I’ve noticed more people talking about anti-reflective screen protectors, and I wanted to start a discussion about long-term durability.

In particular, I’ve seen a lot of mentions of:

  • FLOLAB ONETIME PRO (Anti-Reflective / PolarSpectra / Infinity Edge)

  • Benks GlassWarrior Sapphire

Just curious about how these protectors hold up over time:

  • Does the anti-reflective coating still work after months of use?

  • Any changes in clarity or color (rainbow effects, tint)?

  • Do fingerprints/smudges build up faster on one compared to the other?

  • If you’ve tried both, what stood out in day-to-day use?

Would love to hear your experiences.

I got an email from FLOLAB customer support today that they launched their updated version of their screen protector with 0.7 mm bezels:

Just wanted to share that in case anyone was waiting on that; I know a lot of people didn't like the the first iteration because of the bezel width. I think they are also providing upgrades to that version if you purchased their original version (you pay for shipping), but I could be wrong. Ended up purchasing today. Let me know if anyone want an update

I'm personally going to buy the flolab screen protector, becuase its one of the strongest and most durable SP out there, it covers not only the glowing screen but also the bezels, so you get full coverage on the whole front side of the phone which also makes the screen protector invisible when you have a case on, what are you guys going with? Ive seen a lot of people buy spigen screen protectors, but i personally dont think they are worth it since they cost the same as the flolab ones but are arguably worse in some areas.

r/iphone on Reddit: Flolab vs Torras Screen Protectors
January 13, 2025 -

Quick post comparing the quality of Flolab Onetime Pro 3D with Torras:

They’re both great, but Flolab is better for the following reasons:

  • Flolab is centred, whereas Torras is not (Torras is often closer to the right from my experience)

  • Flolab’s curve on the edges (what they call 3D) makes it super easy to swipe compared to Torras, where you can definitely feel the edge more. It’s to the point where taking off the Flolab is almost impossible

  • Flolab’s anti reflective screen doesn’t really affect colour while dramatically reducing glare

Some cons:

  • Flolab is much more expensive (even if you replaced it 2/3 times afterwards with their lifetime warranty, which probably charges shipping(?) Torras will work out to be around the same price)

  • Installation for Torras is actually “easier”. The plastic tab that you have to pull out is shorter, which reduces the chances of dust getting in

Hope this helps anyone else looking to make a decision

will be receiving my 13 pro soon.

Currently my 13 mini is using a belkin screen protector which is a simple one that doesnt cover the lenses. So far okay, but took a bit of effort to get the air bubbles out

For my Pro, been thinking of trying some other brands. I've heard hit or miss things about flolabs.. either being very good or misleading marketing. it also uses a tempered glass style protector

the Spigen models Ive seen are also similar but they cover the entire screen and sensors (again not sure if good or bad)

anyone with experience with all 3?

I just got the their 3D protector in the mail. I have tried Torras, Spigen, ESR and the FloLab 2.5D. I’m not using a case, so not having the screen protector be truly to the edge sucked as there was always a noticeable edge. The FloLab 3D leaves about half a mm from the bezel and the edge is completely rounded, no sharp edges. There is almost no gap between the screen protector and the original glass.

If you’re using a case, this is probably overkill as the Torras Diamond Shield and FloLab’s 2.5D protectors will work just fine and are half the price.

I tried to get some pictures, but the only other camera I have can’t get a macro shot.

While I HATE flooding the subreddit with meaningless short posts, I thought I would save everyone the trouble when ordering screen protectors.

I've heard great reviews about the flolab protectors from the 14 days, so I ordered it so it would arrive before the phone. Well I applied it today, and boy is it a disaster.

Apparently they did not account for the extra bit of curve on the new 15 display, meaning there is raised glass all around the phone screen. The adhesive will be floating above the screen. Which is a shame because the installation was a breeze.

But AVOID FLOLAB AT ALL COSTS.

At least until they decide to revise their protectors.

In the meanwhile, I have reached out to them for a full refund.

r/iPhone16Pro on Reddit: Is Anyone Else Confused with FLOLAB's Screen Protectors Lineup?
August 12, 2025 -

There seems to be a tier list of ONE TIME / ONE TIME MAX / ONE TIME PRO. I imagine the PRO provides the most features and the normal ONE TIME provides the least. However, this is not where my concern / confusion comes from.

I do not understand the difference between the 3D and the Infinity Edge designs. I though the 3D provided more coverage with it's curved edges, and the Infinity Edge provides smaller bezels so you can have a better view of your screen. However, that's totally from my own research of reading forums. However, FLOLAB's themselves provide no explanation.

Also, take a look at this: UPGRADED FLOLAB ONETIME PRO NanoArmour Infinity Edge Screen Protector

What in the H. E. L. L. is upgraded about this? I have no clue! They provide absolutely no information about this.

I have loved FLOLAB screen protectors in the past, but they aren't making it easy to determine which one will work best for me. I could just be totally missing the point and wanted to get your thoughts on this. I'm reaching out to FLOLAB as well to see if they can provide any clarification.

r/iPhone11ProMax on Reddit: Flolab NanoArmour Anti-Microbial 3D Screen Protector Review
October 2, 2020 -

After reading/watching reviews on screen protectors, I finally took the plunge and decided to get one from Flolab which according to Mobilereviewseh on YouTube, is the best he's tested. It's been a while since I got a screen protector. I'm coming from a Samsung Galaxy S8 which had a curved screen so tempered glass screen protectors either had trouble sticking or just looked funny. So I didn't put one on. 3 years later, there are a few small scratches but overall in great shape!

My criteria for screen protectors:

  • Good reviews/ratings

  • Lifetime Warranty

  • Good customer service

The reviews on this are mostly good with a few that say it's not worth it. I was able to secure a 25% off coupon code so it was ~$20 for the screen protector + shipping. The names on their website were a bit confusing so whenever I contacted them, they responded usually within hours which is awesome. There are reviews out there that say their customer service is great when you have questions before ordering, but become non-existent after you've ordered it and want to claim warranty..so we'll see what happens.

It took exactly a week to get to me. I opted for the standard shipping and it was shipped via USPS. IT would be nice if they sold this on Amazon with Prime so it could get to people faster. I actually considered ordering something else because of how long it could possibly take to get to me.

In the box, you get the usual things:

  • Screen protector

  • Instructions

  • Microfiber cloth

  • Cleaning wipe

  • Dust removal sticker

  • Smaller dust removal sticker strips

  • Alignment tray

Surprisingly, it didn't come with a squeegee like most screen protectors. Their kit for Samsung seems to come with a squeegee according to their YouTube install video though. The previous tempered glass screen protectors I bought only had small strips of dust removal stickers so I didn't realize the huge sheet was actually a dust removal sticker, if you've gotten the Belikin screen protector installed inside the Apple store, you'll know what the sheet looks like. It's big enough to cover the whole phone and then some. I only realized this after I finished my install. I thought it was just an insert.

The alignment tray was something I was actually looking forward to using. Having to only worry about the dust really made it "easier" than installs of the past. It's a simple tray that clips over your phone and has notches that guide the screen protector perfectly into position. I had to help push the screen protector down past the notches a smidge but it aligns it perfectly.

Overall the product seems to be great! Glass is extremely smooth and you wouldn't even think I had a screen protector on there with/without a case! The oleophobic coating seems a bit lacking as shortly after the install I could see my fingerprints, but I don't care much about it since it's something that'll wear off eventually. I'm not going to do any crazy drop tests and I'm usually very good about not dropping my phone so hopefully, this does help with scratches and the accidental drops that may occur.

I had these 3 screen protectors from UAG, Dome, and Flolab so I wanted to give a review after trying them all today.

Overall best is Dome for protection, fingerprint reader and ease of install, but its reflective as heck and cancels out the new screen.

UGA Glass film - feels great and almost like glass, fingerprint reader works great (once trained when put on) and it was easy enough to put on. Will definitely protect against scratches, but I am not so sure about drops. Dome Glass - Non-glue version - Best overall to me as it had the easiest install process and it was the strongest in my breaking test. But its very reflective so it does cancel out the anti reflective screen. Fingerprint reader works great (again once you train it with the screen on) Flolab- Solid glass feel lass and easy to apply but the highlighted corners had missing adhesive or something as the bubbles would absolutely not go away. I unapplied it and reapplied it and after 4 times those exact 2 spots were always the same. But the fingerprint reader did work, so if you get a good one you may have better luck. But this one was super easy to break in my break test, much easier compared to the Dome Glass.

November 9, 2019 -

So when I snagged my 11Pro I was looking for the best screen protector to protect this mortgage payment of a phone, and kept seeing reviews for Flolab.

After much searching, I went with them. Looked strong, seamless, clear, perfect, right?

It took 3 weeks to ship to me, in the process somehow my glass took some tiny scratches ( not bad but enough to drive me insane) when it finally arrived It was the wrong one. I reached out via email, they said “PayPal is $6 and we’ll ship you out the right one”

Three weeks later the second one came, and it was shattered already. Contacted back, also explaining how the one I originally ordered was supposed to be the full screen - bezel to bezel without the indent curve on the top. “Don’t worry, pay pal is another $6 for the upgraded model and $5 for shipping and we’ll send it right out.”

Three weeks later I get it in, still the incorrect glass, what ever I roll wit it, it literally cracks two days later. No drops, no bangs, unsure how to split, but it did. Reached back out, ordered another one for another $5 shipping via PayPal.

Now this time, my husband convinced me to grab a cheapo one on Amazon to tie me over. For the price of the first original purchase at Flolab I got not only three protectors but it was full screen.

I finally got the new package in and set it aside for later. Today I opened it up to swap the cheapo one off and guess what - it’s the wrong screen again! This time for an iPhone X!

I’ve had this phone since October 1st and I’ve had to replace the protector 5 times. Im going to give them one more shot after this replacement, but what gives?? Anyone else having issues with them? Any other brand you all recommend that’s strong, feels great and has full coverage?
