I’ve purchased the new 12.9 inch IPad Pro, so i was wondering which keyboard I should get.

So I need to write much on my IPad. I thought about getting the Magic Keyboard or the Smart Keyboard Folio, but im open for your recommendation.

Magic is the best experience imo but expensive. ESR makes some very good cheaper alternatives, just misses the seamless connection of the Smart Connector. Logitech combo is solid and versatile but sucks for lap use. I bought many different ones and settled with the magic paired with a Spigen thin fit case.

Magic Keyboard for iPad user here. Since I do a lot of remote desktop server administration and SSH this was an easy choice. The typing experience is great compared to the Smart Folio keyboard. The touchpad is super accurate and supports gestures too giving a very laptop-like experience. If you plan to do a lot of typing then the Magic Keyboard is an obvious choice over the Smart Folio keyboard. Having said that, it is ridiculously expensive for what it is - imo you really need a business case to justify the cost unless you're loaded and just want the best of everything.
