LED Lighting for Living Room
Best budget LED lighting solution for my living room?
Need 15 lumen/sqft=6000 lumens
I think I know where you got this number, and you should keep in mind that this calculation assumes even distribution of light sources (as you might get with downlights or high bay fixtures in a warehouse). While a perimeter is better than a couple point sources, it's still a very rough rule of thumb.
~60 lumen/watt
Expect to actually get about half that much on first installation.
Does RGB vs 3000K LEDs make a difference?
RGB white is a miserable bluish-green white. Use dedicated white if you want white.
What's the best budget brand for 24V 5m or 10m LED strips without voltage drop?
What's budget for you? On an long-term installation, $20/ft of tape would be my "budget" option with a better product at $50/ft. I suspect you're looking more for $20/5m though.
What's the best 24V controller that is both capable of 150w
I have LED tape from Qtran in coves in my current residence with iQ-PH drivers that receive dimming input from Lutron dimmers. This is an architectural system though and is different from the wifi/bluetooth plug-in kits.

I’m looking to (finally) get LED lights around the ceiling of my room. We measured and i’m going to need a 60 foot strip. I look everywhere online, on youtube but all I find are “guides” from scams or cheap companies, or when they are legit the reviews say they are trash. Also not looking to totally gut my wallet, a budget option would be nice. Not looking for much, LEDs that can get pretty bright and dim, a good white, and a good color range. Also want them to last long and not fall off. Any and all help is appreciated
