I’ve been watching animated movies with my niece and nephew, and I wanna watch more non Disney animated movies on my own. I watched the Kung Fu Panda trilogy, Prince of Egypt, Ice Age, and Wallace and Gromit last week and then watched The Angry Birds Movie this morning (yeah it’s a bad movie but I love watching movies even if they’re not good so that’s ok with me).
Any suggestions? :)

Can't go wrong with most of what Studio Ghiblis put out, and they've got at least 5 that would be considered essential viewing for fans of animation. Studio Laika puts out pretty good stuff. Paranorman, Kubo and Coraline are all a fun time with a very unique visual style. That TMNT movie from last year was a blast, probably my favorite portrayal of the turtles outside of comic books, killer soundtrack and if you like the Spiderverse movies you'll love the way it looks. I haven't personally seen Nimona or the most recent Puss in Boots but I've heard nothing but praise for both.

Watching movies with family is fun, but it’s so annoying to go to the Family Movie Night section and just see everything being animated, disney, or rated for ages 5+ If anyone has some suggestions, please pass me them! Things that aren’t animated are preferred, but animation is fine if it’s something a dad or mom could enjoy as well as a kid. Thanks!
