Personally I've always used a literal lawn chair because despite the inconvenience of carrying it, it has saved my ass multiple times. But now I need a new, smaller chair that would be easier to carry for small conventions. I don't mind having to lean my back against the wall but I would still like to know what y'all think is better.

Hi there. I have kind of an interesting question.
They make these chairs that fold into about the size of a water bottle (photo attached). They would fit in bins, and MAYBE the steel vengeance lockers.
Is there a policy against bringing these and sitting in them in the queue? I don’t see what the issue would be, unless CP has some fine print about it.

I keep RJ45 couplers in my bag so I can extend my console cable using standard patch cables. RS232 signaling will travel several hundred feet over CAT5 cabling. I generally just sit on the floor. But if there is a table or desk that I can reach by coupling 25' patch cables together, I'll do it in a heartbeat. But if I were doing field service work for a significant portion of my work-cycle, I'd totally find some kind of a camp stool, or rolling toolbox that filled this need.
