Since we're getting more news about the "fate" of the 200 stores as well as the end of the Big Rewards card. It got me to thinking, has anyone heard anything about the fate of the Big Lots Credit Card? Will it continue or is there a finale date for it?
If there is a final date for it, do we call the bank to see what our options will be? Forgive me for being curious, I need to know so I know what to do.

If you are a cardholder you will still be expected to pay off the balance, and then after that it’ll either be transitioned to a different card by comenity or closed all together

The Big Lots Credit card is in the Sale Order. section 90 talks about it. It says the agreement between Comenity and Big Lots ends the later of 1. The closing of a sale to a third party or 2. February 12, 2025. Unless the third party (ostensibly Variety) is held to the agreement between Big Lots and Comenity. Basically, if Comenity can make a deal to continue the card and the buyer (Variety) agrees then they can continue the agreement. Otherwise the card is not valid as of the later of those 2 dates and Comenity can continue to send bills saying "big lots credit card" and using the trademark for 9 mos.
