For our anniversary, my boyfriend got me the Bisley 5 drawer cabinet and 3D printed a total of 12 inserts to hold a total of 540 bobbins. I've taken advantage of the Joann's 50c DMC thread sale and got the colors I was missing that were available, but some of them I'm still missing and was not able to buy at that time I also purchased DMC color stickers for the bobbins from a seller off Etsy, and used my own bobbins to adhere them to. If I want to get the specialty DMC thread that I don't have (Satin, light effects, coloris) I'll need to have more inserts 3D printed, but since I don't have them right now, haven't bothered to have more inserts printed yet. As it is, we printed 4 inserts at a time which took about 35 hours, so for 12 total, it took approximately 108 hours to print!
Now I need to figure out what to do with the other 2 drawers!
