I have both right now. There are pros and cons for both so it depends what is important to you. Quiet Comfort 1 versus 2… Great Noise canceling - I don’t notice a difference between them, they are both the best earbuds I have found for noise canceling and I have tried all the high end earbuds Ear fit is customizable - both 1 and 2 fit my ears fine, but not my husband’s ears. He couldn’t wear them without them falling out. He end up buying the Sport version. (They provide 3 wing size options so you can pick the best fit for your ears but ver 2 actually let’s you choose the size for both the wing and also the earbud piece, so you can combine them however you like) Case size - Version 1 has a big case and they don’t fit great in pockets or small purses. Version 2 case is closer to the iPad Pro size. Also note that the version 2 earbuds are smaller in your ears. I am fine with both sizes and don’t prefer one over the other in regards to earbud size. Battery life - From what I researched, version 2 has a longer charge but I can use my version 1 almost the entire day with noise canceling and then put them back in the case to charge. I charge the case 3 times a week. I haven’t tried doing this with version 2 yet. Wireless Charging - version 1 case can charge wirelessly but version 2 does not. This was the DEAL BREAKER for me. I love the smaller case for version 2 but I love more just laying my devices on a charging pad and not having to go find the cord and plug them in. I am returning the version 2 I got on Black Friday for $250. I will wait for their next version that adds wireless charging. Answer from Admirable-Fly-8252 on reddit.com

r/HeadphoneAdvice on Reddit: Bose QuietComfort earbuds 1 vs 2
October 30, 2022 -

How do the 1.0 and 2.0 versions of Bose's QuietComfort earbuds compare? The 1.0s are on sale so it's 180$ for the 1.0s and 280$ for the 2.0s. Are the 2.0s worth the extra money in your opinion and why?

Worth upgrading from first gen QC Earbuds to QC Earbuds II?
I was disappointed with my QC 2 buds initially. No multipoint, no wireless charging, no easily readable battery status display on the case, you have to place the buds in the case to pair them, etc.. - certainly several shortfalls or downgrades there. However, I left my QC 2 buds at work this week and have been working from home. I am using by QC 1 buds for music, exercise and TV .....and I really miss the sound quality and ANC of the new buds.... I am driving to the office today to collect them. It's definitely worth it. EDIT: I have used by QC 1 buds literally every day for two years for work, exercise, commute and TV, and they're still going strong. I expect to do the same with the new buds.... love them.
