Bought my first product from Bose, the micro speaker refurbished for $85

I’m considering ordering a refurbished pair of NC 700s - it’s $100 less - from the Bose website. Does anyone have experience with refurbished Bose products? How is it?
The seal on the back says ‘refurbished’ but it came in a new retail box in a brand new condition. Upgraded my old QC35ii and the bluetooth range on the this unit is almost double.
Can anyone explain to me why Bose has SO MANY refurbished products? Are they so poorly constructed that they have issues right away or are they returns? And why would you return a great looking and sounding device? Their quality is supposed to be high. Just concerned that so many have to be repaired.
Bose refurbished worth it? QC headphones are on sale right now for $199 from Bose. Thanks!
What are people's experience with refurbished products straight from the Bose website?
I would think those are mostly Headphones that people ordered, didn't like and sent back so they should be barely used. Is that what I should expect?
Specifically I'm looking to get the QC Ultra.
Hi everyone, has anyone ordered a pair of refurbished ear buds? Is it worth ordering refurbished or would you spend the extra for the new ones? Being they go in your ear I am questioning it more than other items.
I've never ordered from Bose before so would love opinions. Thanks
Im looking to buy the Quiet Comfort 45 headphones, but that price is insane. How is Bose's refurbished products?
Hello!
I am looking at getting some earbuds for use during at a few different times. And I've never owned a pair of wireless earbuds before, so not sure what the right choice is for me.
I will be using them for multiple things:
During walks
In the garden doing a bit of garden work
At work
During travel (primarily airplane)
So a few things are important to me:
ANC, since I will be using them for travel to watch TV shows etc this is a big one.
Fit, as wireless earbuds are new to me, one fear is having a pair that falls out of my ear constantly.
Sound quality, this is obviously important, as im not exactly looking at budget choices, but the two above are more important
I have been looking mainly at the Bose QuietComfort Ulta Earbuds, since my girlfriends has had a couple of Bose headsets and the noise cancelling has always been great.
I am however also seeing alternatives, and earbuds like the Sony WF-1000XM5 are also getting some high praise in most reviews.
So basically looking for advise if the Bose's are a good match for my demands or if I should be looking at something else like the Sony earbuds?
They have the qc ultra for $299 and and they are certified refurbished and they also have open box at bestbuy for the same price what do you guys think?
Bose has the black 700s refurbished on their website for 280$ my question is how are bose refurbished products in regards to quality and longevity. Is it worth buying refurbished? I have been eyeing a pair of noise cancelling headphones for a while. What do you guys think about this model?
To fellow Canadians looking to purchase refurbished products from the bose.ca website -- do not do it! There's an ongoing issue between bose and couriers that makes UPS try to ask for duty charges upon delivery.
Should you decide to pay for it.... After speaking with customer service rep, its a whole process to get your import fees refunded by Bose (estimated 3 weeks refunded). Call bose canada to see if this is still an issue.
Disappointed that bose canada is aware of this issue and doesnt post this on their website nor pause refurbished sales.
Edit -- any product that says Shipping from the United States. not just refurbished ***
Hi - was wondering what the general consensus of the bose ultra opens are with durability. I have total tech at best buy which gives me up to two years warranty on anything I buy there and since they have geek squad refurb'd ultra open for $189 and as Costco has them new for $250 w/ choice of $50 egift card, I didn't know which was the better option :) ty!
Got them today. Unfortunately, right after trying them out, the right earbud started to make loud crackling noises (firmware update did not help). It sucks cause I really like anc and how they sound, but the problem makes them unusable. Should I bother with warranty or should I just return them immediately?
Hi, I put an online order for Bose QC 45 refurbished, and I received them today. I got it for C$250. Today, they are on sale, and you can get the new one for C$300. Should I return the refurbished one and get the new one? I wouldn't mind returning the refurbished one even if there's a 0.01% chance that they would malfunction.
Or
Is there a chance that if I call customer support, they could give me some refund as there was a huge price drop on the new pair of headphones?
I want to purchase Bose Subwoofer 700 and Surround speakers, which i will be using with Bose soundbar 300. I am considering purchasing refurbished products directly from Bose online store.
Any suggestion, how good are refurbished Bose products.
Thanks
Got Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds a couple Christmases ago—accidentally dropped my left earbud in an elevator pit the other day at work… Spoke with building management and apparently the maintenance guys couldn’t find it down below.
I see single left-side earbuds on eBay for around $70, same model. Sure beats buying a new set, even if Bose will apparently discount it. However, $70 is still a decent chunk of change in the event that I can’t pair it with my case/remaining earbud. So I thought I’d check here first.
Anyone know if it’s possible to replace just one? Thanks in advance.
Hey all,
So, I recently purchased a pair of QC ultra Earbuds from the Bose website (this is my first pair of Bose headphones/earbuds). This was the Bose certified refurbished ones. So, when I started using these, the battery was at 100% on both ears, within 20-30 minutes of use, the battery on both ears dropped to 90% abruptly, it just dropped by 10% out of nowhere. Then, it dropped to 80% on the right ear again after 20-30 minutes. The immersive mode was off and I reset the earbuds but the issue is persisting. I contacted Bose and they offered a new one as a replacement. Now my question is, this is weird right? It's not normal for the battery on these to drop by 10% every 20-30 minutes? If this is normal for Bose earbuds, I might as well get earbuds from another brand and request a refund. Thank you!
