I am looking at getting a very nice kitchen faucet for Christmas. I ruled out Moen since their faucets were limited to 1.5GPM flow whereas Brizo and Axor have about 1.8 GPM. Really what I want is a quality, durable, as little plastic as possible (I know some is unavoidable like in the lines) faucet. No interest in the electronic options at all.
Which do you recommend? Warranty language on both are the same. The Hansgrohe Axor’s “laminar flow” seems fancy, but I’m worried that will just result in less fluid velocity (since GPM is the same) and will ultimately feel like it has low pressure.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. I’m a buy once / cry once person.

They get all up in the intricacies of the various plumbing fixture manufacturers business. I have 4 Brizo faucets - 3 in bathrooms and the Litze gold luxe in my kitchen. Absolutely love all of them. The finish on my gold luxe is beautiful and I love the sprayer. I use it more that I used my previous sprayer in 23 years!

Called Brizo, spent about 3 hrs on hold and then talking to the rep., who was very incompetent. He opened the case, but company never contacted me back to fix the problem. Few days later when my plumber started to install the sink faucet it turned that faucet is leaking.

I know this has been asked before but asking again since hopefully technology gets better with time. It sounds like the lower end touchless faucets are the problematic ones (more plastic parts, turns on randomly more, can't use without power/batteries). What if I go higher end like the Brizo Odin SmartTouch Faucet? Or should I just give up and get a non touchless?

We've had the Delta Trinsic touch faucet in our office for years. I'd rather have the touchless version tho.. wasn't an option when this came out. Delta and Brizo are the same manufacture and both good quality. They offer an AC adapter but come with a battery operation out of the box. We always sell the AC adapter with ours tho..

I have seen some brizos (deltas upscale brand) advertising that as well My Moen faucet has a lifetime warranty. ... We went with Delta faucets during a whole home remodel of our $1.5M house. Also looked at Kohler but preferred the look of one of the Delta lines. Everything is holding up very well 5 years later and still looking great. Only two things I would have done differently: we got a touchless faucet in the kitchen and I wish we’d gotten one in every possible fixture.

The cartridge is what makes the faucet work, once the faucet drips or leaks the cartridge has to be replaced. Simple fix, but I had to order from Delta and have a plumber do it because I’m not handy. Had to replace three within 6 years. This last replacement is still good at about 3 years. CS was good, but not sure I’d buy another Brizo.

I can only speak about Brizo, because I don’t have any experience with the other. We have Brizo faucet and bath fixtures throughout our house. We are very happy with them all. Our kitchen faucet is touch activated, which I thought might turn out to be a gimmick and which now I would never give up.

All my fixtures are hansgrohe for over 15 years now. Funny, but all are high efficiency (1.5 or better) and I hardly notice the difference. Every time I move I make it a goal to replace fixtures first, and it's always Hansgrohe. I've had 2 problems up to date, and lifetime warranty was a breathe: excellent customer service (hose replacement and kitchen faucet head replacement - practically instant!!). Top notch quality, great service - couldn't imagine another brand. Seeing how Axor is top of the line product of Hansgrohe, I wouldn't have any reservation picking them.
