Is it worth the extra cost of going with the Brizo line in terms of long term durability and reliability ? (Ie not considering esthetics ). I notice a difference in weight between the two and this leads me to believe the Delta line has more plastic internal parts. Not sure if this correct or not ?
I know this has been asked before but asking again since hopefully technology gets better with time. It sounds like the lower end touchless faucets are the problematic ones (more plastic parts, turns on randomly more, can't use without power/batteries). What if I go higher end like the Brizo Odin SmartTouch Faucet? Or should I just give up and get a non touchless?

This has been posted in the past but want 2024 most up to date answer. We want something that will last and is of high quality. Looking for responses from plumbers, but any input is appreciated. Talking about sinks, showers, tubs, toilets, and any other sundry plumbing fixture.
Have folks heard about this brand? We’re doing a major remodel of a kitchen and a couple of bathrooms and our GC sent us over to their vendor who they have worked with for 25 years. We saw what we loved in the showroom and they kind of steered us towards California faucets and mentioned others are like 2-3 time more.
We picked what we liked withi it seeing the pricing thinking it wasn’t crazy. When we got home and did some research, these are like $1500 for a stainless steel Blanco farmhouse sink and like $1300-$1800 for faucets.
We haven’t bought anything but just shocked. Is going into a showroom a bad idea?
Throughout my Plumbing career, I have always been a Moen guy. Kohler gets a pass here and there. But delta? can't stand the stuff. But I'd like to hear other people's opinions!
I'm looking to buy my last kitchen faucet, if possible.
A few things I'm looking for:
-Separate hot & cold controls
-Separate sprayer
-Normal flow. Not the high pressure tiny streams - not sure what this is called. I want just a normal aerated flow from the faucet and pressurized steam from the sprayer.
High arch style neck.
-Solid stainless or stainless finished solid brass.
-Simple, classic design, ideally with porcelain handles on the temp controls
Ideally no cartridge - I want to be able to repair these, not replace cartridges. The simpler the better. I'd rather change o-rings and valve seats than entire cartridges.
The absolute top priority is that it's going to stay nice over the years with normal maintenance.
Budget: up to ~$1,500
