I've decided to instead go and hunt for an existing account to purchase (which saves the hassle of finding & testing a product + has all parts of the system worked out already). I think it would be tough to buy an FBA business unless it had solid potential outside of Amazon as well or you have the tools to scale quick. Considering it will take two to three years just to break even on deal is a super long time in the internet world. Things move at such a high pace that I think there is too much risk that within that time frame there would be a shift within the industry that would put you out of business. This shift could come from anywhere-Amazon itself, competition, your supplier etc.
