Canadian Tire sucks, any other recommendations?
I'm always mystified when I see the full service bays at Canadian Tire. Before I learned my lesson, I had only bad experiences there, from the grouchy old jerks at the service desk to the untrained teenagers doing the work. Never on time, always done incompetently. Anyway, I recommend finding an independent garage with lots of good reviews. That's how I found an excellent place in Toronto. More on reddit.com

BTW, the Savage .22 single shots are great little guns for teaching young kids to shoot. Scaled way down to kiddie size, with peep sights. Bought one to teach my then 9 year old grandson last year. Nice.

I brought my car to Canadian Tire on Dundas and Trafalgar, to change tires and do wheel alignment.
Turned out they told me I have the 3rd brake light not working, passenger brake light not working and reverse driver light not working, all at once!!
I swear to god I always check my brake lights and reverse and they were working perfectly yesterday, anyone else had these issues with Canadian Tire?
I live on Dundas and Trafalgar, any recommendations where to go to get this checked out and see what happened?

Thanks to everyone who suggested places they are happy with; many have hundreds or more 5 stars reviews and that's great! I'll check on most of them and I'm sure I'll find the best for my needs

I had time to go check the lights with a coworker, turns out that:
- 3rd brake light, not working
- passenger brake light, working perfectly
- driver reverse light, working perfectly
I have to add prices, they wanted to charge was about $90 for the 3rd break light and about $50 each brake and reverse light bulb.

I was at the Trafalgar Canadian Tire years ago and I watched a big argument between a customer and the manager because they wouldn't let him take his car because they deemed it unsafe. He took it in for a tire repair, and they looked at his brakes and deemed the car not -roadworthy. He had a tow truck in the parking lot waiting to take his car to another garage and they still wouldn't let him take the car out of the service bay. The guy went nuts ( deservedly). there are plenty fo good independent garages around but I would recommend Young's Automotive on Speers and Dorval. Honest guys to deal with.
