Hi! This is a question mostly for those who have purchased/financed a car through CarMax.
I want to buy a car from my local CarMax BUT I might have a problem. I haven’t worked in almost 2 months and this week I just got hired at a new job that I’m very excited about.
So what is the problem? I am worried that they will ask me for check stubs or some sort of proof of income. My last check was almost 2 months ago and I probly won’t get paid for another 3 weeks or so. Will this be a problem? Will I still be able to finance a car without a recent check?
Side note: On the website i put down that I am willing to make a 5,000 down payment and I did prequalify.
Does anyone know if American Credit Acceptance requires paystubs to show federal taxes being withheld? The reason I ask is I have (2) sources of income, a day to day 9-5 gig and a sales gig. The sales gig is strictly commission based and all of my tax withholdings come out of that. My 9-5 is exempt, I was using my day job as my income source for the financing but now I’m concerned about it showing tax exempt! Already paid for the non refundable $2000 shipping cost after carmax said it was approved. I didn’t include the commission gig for income as some months are good some are bad.
