r/Mattress on Reddit: Tempur-Pedic cloud pillow vs Casper foam pillow?
May 6, 2024 -

Hi all—I am looking for a new pillow! I currently have a down one from Brooklinen but it is not supportive at all for me. I've had pretty bad cervical neck pain. I did an MRI and found out I have mild arthritis in my neck. I know a pillow won't solve my pain but hopefully it can at least help!? I've settled on these two pillows and was wondering what you all thought?

I sleep mostly on my side and back. I am also on the smaller side so am not looking for anything with super high loft. Any help would be great! Looking to hear if anyone has any experiences with these pillows or which one they would recommend for me.

Extra soft but also extra thick. For back-sleepers who want a supportive, soft pillow ... The Casper Original Pillow uses a pillow-in-pillow design with two layers, both made of polyester fiber, at slightly different firmness levels. This creates a thick but soft pillow that is great for back-sleepers who want a polyester fiber pillow.

Casper vs. Tempur-Pedic: Which well-known brand is best? - Reviewed
October 15, 2021 - The mattress also doesn’t come with freebies that many other mattress companies throw in—there aren’t pillows or bed sheets included to lessen the blow. Casper’s Original mattress may be less expensive, but it’s also a far lower quality product in our opinion.

Casper vs Tempur-Pedic (2026 Update) - Mattress Clarity
Comparing the Casper Tempur-Cloud is like pitting the new guard against the old one. Relatively speaking, the original all-foam Casper is a new kid on the block: It’s made by Casper, a brand that pioneered online mattress sales. The memory foam Tempur-Cloud hails from the brand that pioneered memory foam mattresses: Tempur-Pedic.

TEMPUR-Symphony vs Casper Pillow 2025 - Mattress Clarity
The nice thing about both these pillows is that sleepers can flip and/or adjust them to be a great fit for any type of sleeping position. TEMPUR-Pedic’s dual-sided TEMPUR-Symphony pillow is a firm and supportive sleeper’s dream, while Casper’s pillow is the coziest down alternative option for those who want a down pillow without the allergies.

Looking to upgrade my mattress for the Labor Day sales. Am currently looking at the Casper Snow Max and TEMPUR-adapt and can’t make a decision, was wondering what people think between the two brands.

From what I understand the Snow max uses lower density 2.5pcf memory foam, then has a couple of what are imo gimmicky cooling features such as graphite infused foam and phase change materials. It is a hybrid though and has air channels through the foam to allow heat to dissipate, so it still might not sleep especially hot. Then the Tempur adapt is their entry level mattress. It will have a polyfoam core instead of pocketed coils(unless you mean the adapt hybrid) and the memory foam Tempur uses will be a bit denser and higher quality. Especially once you start looking at their pro and luxe line of mattresses. I feel like Tempur overcharges quite a bit for what you are getting, but at least with them you know you're getting decent materials. The casper snow is also pretty expensive for what you are getting as well I would say. One downside to the all foam Tempur is it will likely build up heat much more than the Casper snow hybrid would. I would trust the durability of the Tempur more though. Another option Id like to throw out there, there is a company called Tempflow who makes mattresses to compete with TempurPedic. What I like about them is they are transparent about the materials in their mattresses, you know you will be getting nice high density foams and that they havent been decreasing the quality over the years like so many others have. What I dislike is the lack of feedback. This is a company that has been around for like 20 years and there is very little customer feedback online. You can find a few mentions on Reddit, a little bit more on The mattress underground, but thats really about it. Another option which I think is a great deal for the price, If you have an Original mattress Factory by where you live they sell the Serenity and Serenity Plush . This mattress has a super dense memory foam comfort layer, much more so than modern Tempur's even. 2" of 8lb memory foam, then 3" of 5lb memory foam, and a 2.25lb polyurethane foam base. imo if want to go Tempur Adapt and dont want their higher end mattresses. Look at the Costco models . With these you get Costco's return policy, which is basically they will take it back no questions asked, no return fees, no exchange only policy or sleep trials.

I would not recommend Casper. They are overpriced and use cheap materials.

Casper Hybrid review & Casper vs Tempurpedic | Casper Canada | Mommy Gearest
August 27, 2019 - But since owning not one but two different Casper mattresses since our TEMPURpedic, there’s no question for me who wins in the Casper vs TEMPURpedic contest. This is a huge one for me now as I’m smack in the middle of perimenopause, because hot flashes are no joke. We had our TEMPURpedic long before I knew the horrors of hot flashes — especially the ones that wake you from slumber — and I frequently found it got quite hot and I’d need to roll to a cooler spot. I actually stopped using our TEMPURpedic pillows soon after buying them because I couldn’t stand the heat (and I’m that girl who always has cold hands and feet so heat is normally welcome in my world).
