This is just a worse Ink Business Cash. What a bummer.

Edit: Should have made extra clear that this is the bonus category from June 1 - 30. Meaning in addition to Amazon
Seems like the Q2 categories are out here on this link now.
Q2: Amazon & select streaming services
Personally, this sucks, I was hoping for at least dining this time around, oh well. Sounds like a sock drawer quarter for me.
Videos
Historically Chase has Gas on its 3rd quarter and the last two years in addition to gas they had entertainment. Discover already published their quarterly categories ( Gas and Public Transport and Utilities).
We may see an overlap this quarter on Gas on both cards? I hope not,
What are your thoughts?
Q2 categories look light for Q2 compared to other years with only Amazon and select streaming. I wouldn’t be surprised if the special category is dinning in June. If you can, use the OG first and save the Flex for June so if dinning is the special category you can stack it and get 7% on dinning. The special category is on the existing limit $1,500 not in addition.
I would do this strategy the whole year if you can.
This is all speculation but it’s better to be prepared vs coming on here saying how you missed out and only if you had had your OG freedom first.
Source: Business Insider The categories will be available to activate starting tomorrow.
I'm seeing a lot of early disappointment in the Q2 categories. People sock drawing the card.
Maybe this is false hope. But perhaps we could stack GrubHub thru Amazon and get dining and Amazon rewards? I know GrubHub works as dining on the Flex.
Worth trying or a dumb idea?

SELECT STREAMING SERVICES
Earn 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in combined purchases on Amazon and Select Streaming Services from 4/1/2025 - 6/30/2025 to welcome the Spring season with cashback.
I am looking for my 3rd credit card to complement my bofa cash rewards cc. I dont think any card can beat the 3.75% cash back that its giving me right now outright (online purchase, which is the bulk of my non-amex gold spending).
So i think the best card to complement it is either one of these 2 cards (CFU vs Discover equivalent). Please let me know if theres a better option out there
Second, which product gives the better categories? Is there a website that outline and compare the past categories for all of the quarters in the past, lets say, 3 yrs?
Hello Everyone,
Chase Freedom/Chase Freedom Flex Q2 5% Rotating Categories are Amazon.com and Select streaming services. You can activate them starting tomorrow. March 15th!
Have a great day! :)
What categories do you think Q2 will be for the freedom flex. Me personally I am hoping for digital wallets or something to that nature. Amazon doesn’t do me justice since I have the Amazon Prime Card and Discover is giving me 5% back on gas. Hope they save gas to Q3, though in an ideal world I would get restaurants, but it already gives base 3%. What are your predictions?
Old Navy, Chase Travel, Department stores and PayPal (for the month of December only)
So, I seen that Chase announced their Q2 5% categories. 5% back on Amazon, Hotels, and Restaurants. I’m glad to see that this quarter is way better than Q1. It’s honestly one of the best lineups for 5% back I’ve seen in a while. What do you guys think?
Any guesses on what April - June will be? is it going to be restaurants 5% back?

Norwegian Cruise Lines
-
Grocery Stores (excluding Walmart and Target)
-
Fitness Clubs & Gym Memberships
-
Hair, Nails & Spa Services
What do you think will be the Q3/2025 rotating categories?
Usually Discover and Chase Freedom Flex are different.
Discover this year has not included Gas as rotating category and we know Chase Freedom Flex usually has gas in Q3.
What are your thoughts?
I’m hopping for digital wallet
The categories were released today. You can activate starting tomorrow
Amazon.com
Lowe’s
Honestly, useless for me since I have both the Amazon and Lowe’s credit cards
What are your opinions on this year's Q4?
I'm really shocked on McDonalds since its very random, but Paypal is great as always.

Here are the previous two years, we could assume that gas will be in Q3, anyone know if there'll be something new in addition to gas?
2024 Q3
Gas and electric vehicle charging stations, movie theaters and select live entertainment
2023 Q3
Gas stations, EV charging and select live entertainment
Norwegian Cruise Line, Dining, and American Heart Association
I never thought we’d see 7x (1x base + 2x ongoing dining + 4x quarterly category) on dining again! It will be available to activate on the app/website starting 12/15.
Edit: For those who are skeptical about the stacking, I can confirm I am earning 7% on dining on my Freedom Flex. My first purchases for the quarter posted today (1/5/26) and show 7% earn in the Ultimate Rewards portal.
Haven’t seen anybody bring this up yet, but just got an email from Chase detailing the 5x bonuses this quarter. Buried about halfway down the page is this tidbit:
WELCOME TO OUR BIRTHDAY PARTY! This year we're celebrating 15 years of 5% cash back on rotating bonus categories! To celebrate, we're offering you exciting categories and exclusive new offers to thank you for joining us along the way! New this year: Birthday Surprises: each quarter, you'll be able to earn 5% cash back on an additional rotating bonus category, our treat! Stay tuned for your new offers and welcome to the party!
Anyone else see this? Thoughts on what these bonus categories could be? The FF is already such a great NAF card; having a fifth category for 5x points is huge.
