Is the cherry creek trail safe to bike at night (9 - midnight)?
I would say yes. I usually pedal the Cherry Creek trail a couple days a week around 10pm-midnight or later. You might see a couple homeless set up here and there, but they usually appear to be PTFO. More on reddit.com
How safe is the Cherry Creek Trail at night?
I commute from Aurora to Denver about 20 miles a day riding a majority of the way along the Cherry Creek trail. I’ve only been taking my bike on morning shifts and was wondering if people ever ride the trail past 11 at night? More on reddit.com
Running Cherry Creek Trail from Confluence Park at night
Unfortunately, I would not anymore. 4-5 years ago my answer would have been different, but I live right off the trail (closer to Logan/Grant) and even riding my bike in the early morning has become unnerving. As a fellow short female I quit running in the dark down there a few years ago. It sucks, but I started driving to the Highline Canal or Wash Park if I want to run when it's dark. I'm all about minimizing risk while not compromising life/living in fear and this is just one of those things, given experience, I would not recommend :( More on reddit.com
