The past few days I have yet to reach a limit warning using Claude Code with Sonnet. With Opus 4 I get the warning of 2 minutes of it thinking on a problem..

Hey everyone,
I recently subscribed to Claude Pro and today I used Claude Opus 4.1 to create a portfolio website. It actually generated the whole site in one go, but right after that single prompt I got locked out for about 4.5–5 hours.
So now I’m wondering:
Is this lockout/usage limit only for Opus 4.1?
Or does it apply across other models too like Sonnet 4, Opus 4, Sonnet 3.7, Opus 3, Haiku 3.5, etc.?
What are the actual daily or weekly limits?
I mainly got Pro because I want to use Claude for learning LLMs, interview prep, and practicing coding by doing projects but I’m not sure how restricted I’ll be if I keep hitting limits like this.
Anyone else run into the same issue?
Exactly as the title says. I noticed my usage limits have been higher than any Opus model has given me in the past. I remember with Opus 4.1 it started out good but then they slowly started reducing usage limits over time. I assume Anthropic wants users to thoroughly test the new model, thus why the limits are high right now. They will likely start slowly reducing it again to encourage people to pay for higher tiers.
I have the Pro tier at the moment and its been great.
Hey everyone,
I've been using Claude 3 Opus for about a month now and, while I believe it offers a superior experience compared to GPT-4 in many respects, I'm finding the message limits extremely frustrating. To give you some perspective, today I only exchanged 5 questions and 1 image in a single chat, totaling 165 words, and was informed that I had just 7 messages left for the day. This effectively means I'm limited to 12 messages every 8 hours.
What's more perplexing is that I'm paying $20 for this service, which starkly contrasts with what I get from GPT-4, where I have a 40-message limit every 3 hours. Not to mention, GPT-4 comes with plugins, image generation, a code interpreter, and more, making it a more versatile tool.
The restriction feels particularly tight given the conversational nature of these AIs. For someone looking to delve into deeper topics or needing more extensive assistance, the cap seems unduly restrictive. I understand the necessity of usage limits to maintain service quality for all users, but given the cost and comparison to what's available elsewhere, it's a tough pill to swallow.
Has anyone else been grappling with this?
Cheers
I noticed this tonight, don't recall seeing 50% called out the last few days. Is it me, or is this a new rate limit on Max users in Claude Code models?
