I guess an even bigger question. I am a mad beginner. I've pretty much only downloaded codes from github to my own desktop for my own workflow. And am familiar with VScode, a little html, css for web dev, and a liiiiiitle python for installing the apps from github. But I have no idea what work space I would use to live code a project like I see on code pen. any suggestions?

Hi there folks,
Do you guys get use to create projects on codepen.io?
If so, is that some way imporant for you to market your skills? Do you guys use one with that purpose?
As a freelancer do you guys use one for showcasing some of yours skills for your prospect customers?

Codepen is good for smaller things like "do you like this button design" but for anything more complex https://codesandbox.io/ is my go to

The code test I had for my current job used it for my interview. Before my interview they had looked a couple years back into my profile and mentioned some older projects I had on there.

Joe Fitter is right, but I think is better to export your pen (use the export to export.zip option for using your pen locally). This will give you a working version of your pen without having to copy and paste the CSS, JavaScript and HTML code and without having to make changes on it for making it work.

Right click on the result frame and choose View Frame source. And you can copy the source code and paste it in your own text-editor.

Trying to find websites like CodePen, where you can have easy access to JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. The problem with CodePen is that people there only display a small part of the website. What I want is complete websites, preferably e-commerce websites. This is just for learning purposes. Thanks.
