Construction Estimating/Management Excel Templates - Free or Paid
Creating a Construction Budget Template Generator with tasks and subtasks, rather than hiding unused rows or columns
What is BLDG1, BLDG2 and Floor total stand for? Are those different teams?
An easy way to set this up would be a matrix where you have the tasks 5004, 5005, 5006 down column A and then Fl 1, Fl 2, Fl 3..... Fl 6 across the top and then you can put a 1 in each task needed for that floor... it will be easy to fill out and then you can easily build a template from there.
Set it up like that... then you can create identical matrix that pulls in some name for the task for each floor... I used the formula to create "5004 - Wall Panel Standing Install: FL 1" but you can set up whatever you want...
In the identical matrix I used the formula =IF(--(ISBLANK(D4)),"",$B12&" - "&$C12&": "&"FL "&D$11) in the first cell (see below for cell references)
Then if you want an ordered list by task... you can use the following formula
=IFERROR(INDIRECT("Sheet1!"&TEXT(SMALL(IF($D$12:$I$15<>"",ROW($D$12:$I$15)*10^4+COLUMN($D$12:$I$15)),ROWS($D$12:D12)),"R0000C0000"),0),"")
which is an array formula so you have to enter formula and then do ctrl+shift+enter... then drag that formula down and you'll get the following list in that order... you can then in the columns to the right add/format whatever budgeting piece you'd like.

Single Family Home Build - Does anyone have a good Excel budget template? I need to start putting some numbers together for my build. Thanks
This guy has made an amazing (to me anyway) spreadsheet that covers his whole financial life until retirement.
I couldn't live my life like this. It's like he has planned his whole life around a money. Props for him to be able to figure it out, but as much as I want FI, it isn't worth my sanity.

I've tried some free ones that were okay for free. I'm not necessarily looking for "free" however.. I've bought some that were total garbage (the reviews were very generic that was a warning). I mean there's gotta be something good out there right?
