But, I’ve had to turn the front sensor off as my cat was using it as a water fountain. She hasn’t figured out the top sensor so I’m safe. I have Moen from a plumbing supply house. I am looking at the Moen Adler kitchen faucet and the basic model is $130, the touchless model is $260,
which is not a small difference consider it's 2x the price.
Those who have or have used a touchless kitchen faucet, is it worth the extra money?

As a plumber, these are the worst. Not the brand, the product. It's a problem that didn't exist. Even what you're saying is more expensive is a cheap faucet that won't last. You get what you pay for. I have friends that I've put these garbage faucets in for, and then 2 years later, I put a different one with some other new features because the last one broke. Don't be fooled by the hype of the novelty.

Um… if you want to use the faucet with the handle, use the motion detect to turn the water on, then control with the handle after that. It’s not magic, it’s just a solenoid that allows water to pass in one state, and doesn’t allow water to pass in a different state. Edit: record scratch… with the handle in the off position, there shouldn’t be any water coming out. Ok I’m confused. What does the underside look like? More on reddit.com

I have the same touch less sensor faucet and it works really well, it takes 6 or 8 AA batteries that need to be replaced around every 6 months ... I wish they included the mains adapter, but it's been working great for the last 1.5 years. Helps to prevent the puddle of water forming when you turning off the tap while washing dishes. ...
