That's a perfectly reasonable price for those parts under normal circumstances. Under today's crazy batshit pricing circumstances? That's an incredible deal and it's basically a block of solid gold with tempered glass over it. Answer from Callinon on reddit.com

1 month ago - I think I got mine around that time as well, I know it was in the midst of one of the big shortages and I found that it was simply cheaper to buy the prebuilt and upgrade along the way than it was to fight the shortage and buy parts. It's awesome to hear that yours is going strong and has been passed down, I always admire parents who share gaming as a hobby with their kids. Continue this thread Continue this thread Continue this thread Continue this thread ... I'm considering purchasing this exact thing from costco, and from all the IBuyPower reviews and another thread on the IBuyPower subreddit about this exact model, half the people are saying IBP is fine and the other half are saying that it is garbage, terrible qc, terrible parts, dead pcs after a couple days, DOA pcs, and its making me real concerned.

I'm interested in upgrading from my 1080, ideally to a 5090 if I can swing it but at least a 5080. I had two main questions, are the ones costco sells online good prices or just retail price for it? And has costco in the past had supply of top of the line cards before or are they probably only gonna stock prebuilts up to 5080 and unlikely getting 5090s?

I'm buying a new desktop gaming computer and my dad is hellbent on getting one from costco because they seem high quality, I don't know much about pcs as I've only used dell laptops so I was wondering if they're high end and can easily run high graphic games, Thanks for any help.

Its windows 11, intel i5, 32gb DDR5 memory, Nvidia geforce rtx4060 8gb, with 2tb of storage, it did have the annoying gamer lights which i would prefer not to have, its from cyber power, and it was 850$

Edit: Its been great so far, I would absolutely reccomend buying them! Cyberpower seems to be great!

November 29, 2023 - IIRC the reviews were mostly "eh, it's OK". But those are generally good prices I think, and Costco is pretty good about taking returns if you don't like it. Click to expand... That last thing is pretty important. There's a 90 day return policy and the warranty is extended from one year to two. ... I like how they flip the position of the HDD and the SSD in the copy between the two PCs.

Has anyone purchased this or any of the Costco gaming PCs? Curious about their experience and recommendations. Also has anyone upgraded one at all? Is it easy to get new graphics cards or other upgrades into the cases that Costco offers? I currently am looking at this one and not sure if 12 gb vram is enough.

I came across this PC build on the Costco app. This is all the information they gave on it. I am not familiar with PCs at all. Is this a decent price? I am looking to buy a PC, I would be okay with building my own but I can’t select any parts cuz I know nothing lol so I can’t even cross reference with pc parts selector. Let me know your thoughts! If there is a build with similar/better specs for the same/similar price let me know! Thank you for your help.

Hey guys! I'm seeing a ton of both Cyberpower and Costco PCs in here, and that's where I got mine, so figured I'd share my experience.

This was the rig within days of getting it. The parts are all high end, except the PSU. The PSU was a Vida (never heard of em) and that sound that kicks in? Yeah that's the PSU fan going haywire.

I have since swapped it out already for a 1000w Corsair PSU and now, at full load, the entire rig is quite literally silent.

My advice to anyone buying a Cyberpower or Costco PC is this: while you get some seriously high end parts (mine came with a 5080 and a Ryzen 7 9800X3D), the PSU is where they cheaped out. So I'd go over all of your parts and be prepared to possibly have to swap some out.

While yes, people are going to tell me "but sir, you could have returned it". But seeing as all of their PCs are now out of stock, who knows how long I'd be waiting. Plus I'll be adding more drives and such to this so. Swapping it out is absolutely fine with me. I'll try to add the video of how it sounds with the new pay in the comments.
