Wow haven’t heard Crutchfield in a while. They were the go-to source for hooking up CD players in cars back in the day. I’m talking about the Pioneer stereos with detachable faces. Didn’t know they were still around, but yes I had a positive experience with them.

You pay full price, unless there is a sale. But they have great customer service, are very knowledgeable and have extensive training.

Incredibly helpful! ! I think this may be the 3rd set of these I've purchased. These are "must haves" with any multi-component setup. The labels have a lot for "Gaming" but nothing yet that is specific to "DAC" so it might be time for Crutchfield to consider reviewing and updating these.

Regarding Crutchfield specifically, the last order I got from them was back a few years ago: It was an open box or scratch/dent center speaker (I don’t remember which), but either way I was extremely disappointed. Even though was the oem box, the speaker was just thrown in there and it was missing some foam inserts, and the foam that was in there was broken.

I've been having a minor but highly annoying problem with an NAD C658 preamp/streamer that I purchased from Crutchfield over a year ago. The unit is still under warranty, and the NAD website said to initiate a warranty claim thru the original retailer.
I call Crutchfield to do just that, and 5 minutes later they are shipping me a brand new unit, and sent me a return label to send the old unit back.
I thought I'd have to send it to a repair shop, wait 6 months to get it back, cobble together an interim solution so I could continue to listen to music in my office and I'm just thrilled that I don't have to do any of that.
Anyway, just wanted to pass along a great experience with one of the bigger online electronics retailers. It's 2022, almost 2023 and customer service like that is just such a rarity. And also such a treat when you experience it.
