I’m searching for legit remote data entry jobs that are part-time and require no experience. I've come across many listings, but it's hard to tell what's trustworthy.
I'm looking for something flexible that I can do from home without getting scammed or underpaid. If you’ve done this kind of work recently or know of any reliable platforms or companies hiring beginners, please share your experience. Also open to similar entry-level remote roles. Edit: Just wanted to share my experience, I tried a lot of things, and here’s what actually worked for me.
I used EliteSurveySites to find high paying survey panels, read their tips, and signed up for a few panels they recommended. At first, I barely made anything, just a few cents here and there. But after a couple of months, things picked up. Now I’m making over $1500 a month with a mix of BrandedSurveys, SurveyJunkie, and others.
I also started doing simple writing gigs like captions for Instagram and LinkedIn, and i make around $200-$300 per month from this.
I started posting affiliate content in pet forums, which brings in around $100–$150 from last month, but it seems the number of clicks are growing day by day. So, I’m expecting more from this.

As the title says i’m 24 years old and i’ve only worked data entry jobs and minimum wage jobs my entire life and I don’t know how to move up in life.
I’m realizing my experience doesn’t translate to any other field and I don’t have any skills so i feel like i’m gonna be stuck like this for the rest of my life.

Wife is looking for a remote data entry job. Is there a place local hiring? What are legitimate places to look. Seems like there are a lot of scams out there.
Because every time I look into one, or someone approaches me about one, it always seems super scammy. I got a text from a recruiter for a biomedical pharmaceutical company about a data entry job. I’d never heard of it before and I didn’t remember applying but thought maybe I did apply through a staffing agency or something so I replied, asking to see a job description…never heard back. Seriously, a remote data entry job would make my entire life right now. I’m an attempting to transition teacher, been job hunting for over a year, 2 kids at home I very much enjoy being around and am not trying to shell out my entire paycheck to send daycare for. A data entry job would be perfect for where I am right now, but I’m really starting to believe they’re just a made up way to steal something from me.
So I'm trying to get out of Walmart right now for a full time work from home job for someone who has never worked a work from home job in his life. it's either at a warehouse, a restaurant or right now, Walmart. is there any other sites that i can attempt to apply at? Or is everything literally a scam these days? Only was able to apply for one so far and that was Dataannotations. don't know how legit it is but we'll see if they'll even hire me at all.
Does anyone know of any remote or data entry jobs that are legit? I currently work at a restaurant as a server but the restaurant is going downhill. I have to move in 2 months and I don't want to work in another restaurant, I'd rather work from home so I can continue my work even after moving. I've looked online but I don't know what companies are legit and what are not.

Hello good day! As the title suggest, where can i find data entry work? Ive been through alot of facebook groups pero mostly its a spam of scam posting. Finding work at upwork and olj is also an option pero its currently hard to net a client.

Used to be a donut maker, i used to bake alot and i have been doing it for 2 years pero i know na its not for me.
I am currently interested in data analysis and i am currently learning the technical stuff that comes with it (currently Excel)
I have finish an excel course in udemy and also finished a series from excelisfun in youtube. I can say na i can use excel in a intermediate level naman pero i need a work where i can practice my skills or else it will just slow deteriorate.
Tools i have is my Laptop(8gb/1tb) and an okay internet connection.
I would highly appreciate if you can recommend where I can find data entry work as someone who has no work experience on this area. Or if there is any job offer you can give.

I have seen a few videos of a guy on youtube researching some companies and fill in information from their websites to a spreadsheet, getting paid 9usd per hour.
Is this just fake to generate traffic to their ebooks and udemy courses and stuff like that, or are those actual jobs? I need to find work. I tried to work as a translator/transcriber but besides almost not finding any work at all, I don't even have a reliable workflow.... Sometimes I go weeks witout anything.
Look. I just wanna pay rent and eat, and I don't even need thousands of dollars for that. But without any specialised skills I am so fucked..
Is that real? How do I find jobs like that? When I look on upwork I don't find work like that, despite the youtuber claiming he found it on upwork (showed the job actually, but he could easily hire himself...)
I understand it is HIGHLY boring work and very repetitive, but I can manage that. Transcription is the same boring shit.

I’ve been looking for the same type of job for almost 2 years. So far every data entry job I come across (LinkedIn, Indeed etc) is bogus. It’s always someone trying to ‘hire’ you so they can send a check to buy equipment for a nonexistent job. I’m sick of getting contacted by ‘recruiters’ who are really scams, and I wish the job boards would put an end to it.
My job is “data entry”. My official title is an Electronic Data Technician but all I do is sit behind a computer and index documents for an insurance company. I only found the job through an old friend who used to work for the same company. So jobs like this do exist but I agree that they are very hard to find and most posts for them on job searching sites are scams. Maybe look up some insurance company websites and look at their available jobs? My company only posts their job openings on their website and I would guess that’s how most other insurance companies do it as well. Or possibly try looking for indexing jobs instead of data entry. How do you progress if you have a decent entry level remote data entry job without a degree? I want to stay as long as possible but I don't feel like it will last forever, especially with AI. Is the only way to start over in other fields?
I've been in a data entry position for about 10 years now. I've kept with it because it's been so easy, I get a lot of freedom, no stress, no micromanaging, WFH (for almost 10 years), etc. but the pay has always been a little lower. Lately, the cost of living is just too much and I'm smart enough to know my job should be replaced with AI any day now (I work for a tech firm).
In my day-to-day work I use a couple of in-house software programs for finding data that is used in automated email marketing as well as Excel and occasionally FileZilla, besides the usual use of Teams and Outlook throughout the day.
I have no schooling in IT and wanted to check in and see if anyone was aware of career trajectories that utilized data entry to evolve into something more or if I should prepare for a complete career change, but maybe something that would put my experience to work. During this whole time, I have been a volunteer for at-risk youth at a drop-in if that's worth anything.
Are there seriously no data entry or word processing remote jobs? I know I can't do sales. I can't do office work due to a disability. Is it a pipe dream unicorn to find something?
