Is DaVinci worth it?
We kept debating on whether or not to get the Babyletto 4-in-1 mini crib or something a little cheaper, so I did a lot of research and found out that DaVinci is made by the same parent company who makes Babyletto, Namesake, and several other quality brands. So we ended up going with the DaVinci autumn 4-in-1 mini crib and it’s been great. It’s sturdy and well-made, my only complaint is that the holes for the screws are open and didn’t come with any caps to cover them, but that’s an aesthetic preference, not an actual issue. We love our daughter’s crib and she seems to like it a lot as well. More on reddit.com

I have the IKEA Hemnes 8 drawer dresser in my childrens’ room. I got it secondhand on fb marketplace for £150 I think. I would recommend it if it’s available in the US. More on reddit.com

I ended up getting a 6 foot long 7 drawer dresser from West Elm. (Search Mid-Century 7-Drawer Dresser.) Yes, it was more than I’d normally spend on a nursery dresser but it will last through his teenage years so I won’t need to purchase another one for a long time. It also matches the West Elm crib someone gave me so I didn’t mind splurging. More on reddit.com

Has anyone had issues with the durability of daVinci products? I’ve seen that they have good reviews and the price point is appealing, but I’m worried about how long they’ll last. If you’ve purchased one of their cribs or dressers, have you had any issues with any parts of it breaking or needing replaced?

No issues, but my children were crib chewers, the crib now looks like a hamster chewed on it. 😅

It’s a very solid dresser, solid back panel and top so you can safely put your baby/toddler on top to change. The first time we got a wood-tone one so scuffs/scratches don’t show, this one is crimson so it’s painted and did show a little scuff in one corner, but that’s the only complaint.

I am making myself totally nuts trying to find a dresser for our nursery. I want at least 6 drawers and something long that we can put the changing pad and some other diapering supplies on. It seems like everywhere I look the two options are pay $1200, or buy a piece of crap. Any suggestions on affordable brands that won’t fall apart after a year would be greatly appreciated!

Truthfully, I found one on Facebook Marketplace! It's large enough to put the changing pad on + a few other supplies. Totally recommend purchasing secondhand if you have someone to help you load/unload it :) You never know what you'll find on there
