Which Dyson hair dryer should I buy?
How do I turn Scalp protect mode off?
Can I turn Scalp protect mode off?
Regular is $399.00 Limited Edition is $429 ($489.00 value)
No idea how they got $489 value. On Sephora, both sets come with the same items with the expection of the storage case. There doesn't seem to be any discernable different in the dryer technology either.
In regards to the limited edition vs regular price difference...I guess if you're already shelling out so much, what's $30 more? But at the same time, if you're spending this much wouldn't it be for the functionality of the device not the aesthetic? The price is already so high.
On Dyson's site, the set is the same price, but comes with a Dyson-designed Paddle brush and Detangling comb. Sephora's does not, but the discount and beauty points make it more tempting. I just wish theirs also came with these brushes so I could justify sacrificing part of my sales event discount savings on the Limited Edition - the royal purple/copper is really sleek.
Just some thoughts I had while researching. Still on the fence about buying the damn dryer in the first place.
So I've been joggling with the idea of buying my first Dyson hair dryer so I normally did some research and came upon mixed reviews.
Before doing my research I was set on buying myself one for Black Friday but now I'm kinda torn. The general consensus is that the product is good but it stops working at the 2 year mark warranty or before that and give than its not quite cheap not sure if I'm willing to pay 400$ for a product that can stop working any minute plus from what I've read Dyson customer support is horrible.
That's why I'd like to get some opinions from people who owned this product. Thanks in advance ~
