You messed with it too soon. Should of left alone for a couple days and let dry out completely on its own. Answer from Deleted User on reddit.com

r/applehelp on Reddit: Clicked emergency override when liquid was detected, now charging port isn't working
September 29, 2022 -
So l know I messed up, but what do I do now? Dropped my iPhone 13Pro in a literal bucket of water, and a couple hours later tried to charge it. Got the "liquid detected" notification and I decided to override it. Phone was charging fine then about an hour later it stopped charging and now I can't get it to charge at all. Can't even use the port for any other accessories either. Anything I can do to fix it?

Do not hit the emergency override on your iPhone! Do this instead!
Replying to @𝕬𝖐𝖆𝖑𝖆🐉💨 #greenscreen if you hit emergency override when you see this iphone warning, yes your iphone will charge but, it will stop working after a few hours. First make sure there is no water on your charging cable or charging port. If you still need to charge your iphone use a wireless charger. Then just leave your phone alone for 12 to 24 hours and avoid using lighting and usbc cables during that tike frame. #iphonewarning #emergencyoverride #iphoneproblems #iphone #techtok | TikTok
