Replaced some faucets now entire house only gets warm water
Are we dripping faucets tonight and tomorrow night?
Best (affordable) bathroom faucet brands?
Bathroom faucets that's don't suck.
I replaced all of the bathroom faucets in the house a few months ago with cheap Amazon ones. Pressure was too high on them so I only opened the valves half way thinking it was a good fix. Fast forward to yesterday when I called the water heater rental company because I’m only getting warm (hot, but not scalding like I used to). Tech said the water heater is fine and there’s a bad cartridge or mixing valve somewhere, which effects the rest if the house. After some googling I’m realizing that I need to fully open all of the valves, but is it at all possible that this would affect the showers and kitchen sinks indirectly somehow??
I’ll be back home tomorrow to turn the valves on but can’t figure out if the bathroom faucet issue can actually affect the rest of the water outlets in the house.
Assuming they can’t, I’d really appreciate any other advice before calling a plumber for what I think is an issue I somehow caused.
I don’t remember if we should drip faucets during freeze warnings. Last time I was actually told to do it was when I worked at Starbucks in Missouri and it was -13 with -40 windchills🙃🙃
