I use FedEx very often for print orders for my job. Today, I placed a print order around 10am and never received a confirmation email. I thought it must have been a fluke, and re-placed the same order this afternoon and still didn't get a confirmation email.
I just spam, junk, etc - no where to be found. I called in to see if my orders went into production, and it turns out the store did receive both of my orders - but they have no idea why a confirmation email never went out.
Anyone have any idea of this is an issue on my end, or the FedEx side? Customer service basically told me they can't send out any receipts or confirmation emails because it is all automated...

I've learned the hard way that the 'printandgo' service doesn't always work with a MAC PDF file. Some type of corruption during the email transfer. There should be warning for this - same a lot of time and money.

It depends on what software you are using to create the pdf. Mac files can have slight differences in formatting compared to a pc. There is no way to warn about every possible issue you may run into with files not properly formatted. I’ve seen plenty of people have no issues with printing from a Mac pdf. When in doubt try saving as optimized pdf in acrobat. Make sure all layers are flatten. If you have options to preflight, run that as well. The email does nothing to the file. All it does is upload and scan for virus.
