Hi everyone! My partner and I are moving to the Patterson Park area in July and are looking to furnish our apartment with as much thrifted/secondhand furniture as possible (using FB marketplace too).
We’d love to know what the best thrift stores/secondhand furniture spots are in the area. Would also love to know what flea markets are worth stopping by, too!

Second chance is worth a gamble, but it’s just that - a gamble. Stock varies wildly and pricing can sometime be bizarre. But you can get lucky! Even if you don’t get lucky it’s a bit of an experience to walk through the place so it’s never a wasted trip.

Nearly New sale at GBMC is still running and is 50% off tomorrow. They might have some furniture left—whatever they have will be very cheap. Other than that, there is also Great Finds & Design in Timonium and the ReBorn store on Bayard St., about a block up from Second Chance. ReBorn has a warehouse full of furniture. Some of it can be a little pricey but they’re usually willing to accept a lower offer than what they quote. You can also try the Habitat for Humanity ReStores. There are a few around. IMO the best one is in Halethorpe on Commerce Dr. Good luck!

Cornerstone does carry some new upholstered furniture (mostly discontinued items or manufacturer overruns), which are sold just over cost. Hi, I recently moved and need a couch, among other things. Just about anything online is gonna take months to get here, and quite frankly I'm sick of looking at endless variations of beige and gray on Wayfair, Amazon, etc, so thought I'd branch out.
I've had some luck with the ReStore in Lutherville, and am gonna try to hit a few of their other locations next week. Anywhere else I should be looking? Doesn't need to be antiques or anything super fancy, just wondering if there are any hidden gems Google isn't showing me.
