What software should I be using for fan control on my PC?
Your BIOS likely has fan curve options in it for any of the Mobo headers. If you'd prefer software options in Windows Fan Control is generally a great option. If you wanted something more robust than that a hardware fan controller with software integration like the AquaComputer Quadro/Octo is fantastic (but significantly more expensive considering the other options are free). November 25, 2021 - When I try to change the colours or patterns for the RGB Fans using the Medion Erazer Control Center (program included on the installation) the fans don't seem to respond to it, I've tried a lot of tutorials, turning off dynamic lighting, reconnecting the fans, daisy changing them, changing the ARGB port, using third party controller software, updating drivers and nothing has worked. The only thing that I can pinpoint as an issue is that in all of the tutorials where they show how to turn off dynamic lighting, the fans show up as a device compatible for dynamic lighting, but mine don't, I thought it was a bios / driver issue but I'm not sure.

Hi all,
Having heard horror stories about motherboard manufacturers filling your PC up with bloatware (and having used a fair amount of it in the past), is MSI Center really my only solution to control the 4 case and 2 CPU fans I have in my "new" (read: resetted) build? If not, what should I be using? What I'd appreciate isn't too complex, really just being able to set a custom fan curve and leave that running in perpetuity? I'm not sure if there's BIOS control of fans the motherboard I have (B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC) but a single way to bring it all together would be fantastic. None of them are RGB, so I don't need to worry about controlling that at least.

Your BIOS likely has fan curve options in it for any of the Mobo headers. If you'd prefer software options in Windows Fan Control is generally a great option. If you wanted something more robust than that a hardware fan controller with software integration like the AquaComputer Quadro/Octo is fantastic (but significantly more expensive considering the other options are free).

Try digging around the bios. There are probably some options there. Downside is you have to reboot into the bios to make changes.
